Gordon
Barker
Gordon Barker was born in
Gibraltar in 1960. His father was in the army and the family moved a
few times over the years until finally settling in Northamptonshire when
he was twelve.
The landscapes he paints
are mostly ones from his imagination. Gordon likes to ensure that
the pictures are 'busy' so that each time they are looked at the viewer
notices something else going on. He prefers bright vivid colours
that grab the attention.

Carrie
Yuen
Carrie graduated June 2005 with a Fine Art BA (Hons) degree.
Carrie has
recently discovered chainsaw carving
and finishing wood sculptures with power tools. "This is a very
exciting venture for me since large sculptures can now be made in a short
time because of the rapid removal of wood that the chainsaw allows. I
would like to bring chainsaw carving into the art gallery and possibly
combine wood and metal sculptures".
