CJ1 - Pottery Classes - Beginners - March 2010

We are running an 8 week pottery evening class to cover basic techniques
of working with clay. Our guest tutor, Carol Jacobs, has over 25 years experience
teaching and is a very talented designer/maker. During the course we will cover
basics of working on the potter's wheel, a variety of hand building methods and
surface decoration. The projects have been carefully structured to incorporate the
basic techniques so you can go on to work on your own designs. Please see gallery
for photos of students' work. The classes last for 2 hours. Project materials are
included in the cost. Saturday and Tuesday class students have the option of
taking 2 of their lessons with Maureen in pottery glaze decorating techniques.

CJ10 - Pottery Classes - Improvers - March 2010

A class for improvers, anyone with any previous experience is welcome. The
class is tutored by Carol Jacobs. Students may make their own work
under the guidance of Carol, work from one of the many projects in Carol's
portfolio or design work together. Please call Maureen on 01604 629578 to
register your interest. These classes will be held as part time evening classes
and full day workshops on Saturdays or Sundays.

7pm to 9pm - 8 weeks - £90 - includes project materials.

Saturdays March 2010
10am to 12pm - 8 weeks - £90 - includes project materials.

Saturdays March 2010
1pm to 3pm - 8 weeks - £90 - includes project materials.

Pottery - Open Studio sessions

If you would like to do your own work but do have a wheel and/or kiln
you can hire our studio facilities on an hourly basis. The cost is £4.50
per hour or £15 for up to 4 hours and includes firing of 2 medium pots.
Additional firings can be arranged. Please call 01604 629578.

Pottery Classes - Full Day workshops

A series of one day pottery classes covering a range of techniques
and a taster session on the pottery wheel. The cost is £48 per session.
Places are limited. Other dates will be available according to demand.

Easter Holiday Workshops - Adults and children welcome.
