Solid Silver Jewellery
We are now offering parties where you can
design and make your own fine
silver jewellery.
We use a material called Art Clay Silver (or precious
metal clay) which is
silver particles suspended in organic binders and water.
This versatile material
can be worked like regular clay, but on a much
smaller scale, to produce amazing results. The water and binders burn
away when
the clay is fired leaving 99.9% fine silver. The silver can even
be hallmarked
at a small cost.
The cost is £30pp and parties last around
3 hours. There will be some
'wait' time while the silver jewellery is fired so you can have your
party nibbles. You may bring your own party food and drink or we can
arrange catering for you. The cost includes sufficient silver to make a
pendant style necklace, jump ring, cord, use of tools and equipment
and use of one of our party rooms.
No previous experience is required. Parties
suitable for adults and children
12 years and over.
